Note from Ashley:

Congratulations to all teams who participated at THOR! Teams 1533, 731, and 5795 performed well at the competition and it was great that we were able to send two FTC teams to the first ever FTC competition at THOR!

We will be starting weekly meetings this Friday, August 11th at TSL from 4:00pm-7:00pm.  Students, please bring your own snacks if you would like because we will not be providing pizza.  After FTC Kickoff, regular 4:00pm-8:00pm meetings will resume.  FTC coaches and captains met on Friday to discuss plans for this coming season, so come ready to provide ideas for what you’d like to see in your team/club this year.

We are also in urgent need of an Outreach Mentor.  The job of this parent is to oversee and help coordinate outreach events and the ideas of the student outreach leads.  If you are interested in this position or learning more about the position please email

Congrats to Team 1533 for a Great THOR Performance!

Team 731

We finished in the top 4 at THOR! A major achievement considering how many teams were there for sure! This Friday we will be adding programming changes to our competition robot and making sure everyone knows how it works, along with establishing roles for the upcoming season.

FTC Teams 731 and 5795 competed in an exhibition match with 2 other FTC teams this past Saturday at THOR and gained valuable experience to help them compete well in the upcoming FTC season.

As some of you know, ECG robotics has switched to a google non-profit account. We as a team have started to use something call “Team Drive”, which provides a cloud drive drive that stores everything under our domain. We have shared each department’s Team Drive folder to them and they are responsible for sharing it to everyone in the department. We will soon come out with instructions on how to use it and the do’s and don’ts of it.
