Note From Ashley
I hope everyone enjoyed the snow! Just a reminder: the first qualifier for Teams 731 and 5795 is 5 weeks away on January 13th and the first qualifier for Teams 6183 and 10195 is 7 weeks away on January 27th. If teams wish to meet over break at TSL, then they must have two parents minimum at TSL to supervise.
In terms of deadlines: January 5th for 731 and 5795 and January 12th for 6183 and 10195 are the deadlines to have the Engineering Notebook up-to-date as well as to have the team ready to start practicing interviews. Also, every Friday after January 5th from 7:00-8:00pm, the field will be open only to those wishing to scrimmage. This is to encourage teams to start finishing up their robot and to start moving on to the refining stage.
Good luck to everyone with midterms and finals!

FRC Kickoff Sign Up
FRC Kickoff is just around the the corner,Jan. 6, 2018.This is a very important event for all the FRC students. Please make every effort to attend. We will be in need of parents to help carpool students.
Because of our favorite thing, finals, we didn’t do much this week. Almost crunch time!
With Finals quickly approaching our build time was minimal this week but we still developed the robot significantly. It is now capable of movement and has a primitive tele-op code as well as functional intake and scoring mechanism. Of course, each need fine tuning and adjustments so that the mechanisms function as intended. We are continuing outreach with Bluford and looking forward to our fast approaching scrimmage.
Nothing to report
We were caught off guard by the snowfall, however, some of our team members were able to go to TSL today to work on the robot. We completed the relic linear slides and worked on the engineering notebook. Looking forward to qualifiers!
