GENERAL CLUB NEWS

Note from Ashley:

Hello everyone! We’ve had a successful two weeks with all of our June summer classes! Thank you to all teachers, parent volunteers, and students for making the classes possible.

Congratulations to Braxton for earning a spot in the FIRST internship this summer! We know you will do great!

Reminder: For new students who wish to apply for a spot in ECG Robotics, the deadline is June 30th. That means after June 30th we will no longer accept applications at that time.

FIRST Fun Fourth Event

FIRST North Carolina has asked us to come give a demonstration at their FIRST Fun Fourth event with our FTC Bot’s. It should be a great opportunity to spread the word about the FLL and FTC programs and support FIRST in our community. If you are available to participate on July 4th, please sign up here:

Adult and Student Outreach Assistants Needed

Please contact the Outreach Team if you are interested in volunteering to assist with Outreach events this year. Email David, Shami and Cathy at outreach@ecgrobitcs.org for more information or to volunteer.

MARKETING

Marketing is beginning work on designs for our trailer wrap (courtesy of JA King!), which will feature our sponsors and logos for all ECG Robotics teams.

To everyone attending the Jason’s Deli Fundraiser on June 9th, be sure to send or share any photos taken to the marketing team by contacting Sreya or Anthony at marketing@ecgrobotics.org.

TREASURY

We forgot last week to thank Rohan Akki and his dad Nag Akki for volunteering at Jason’s Deli

Attention all parents!!!

I could really use several more parents to help with fundraising. Amy Gates has volunteered to help but there is a lot for 2 adults and 4 students with a fundraising budget of $65,000.

Parents please ask at your jobs to see if your company has community grants or giving programs or would like to make a donation. Remember it doesn’t hurt to ask, it will only help your student and the others.

COMMUNICATION

Here is the Team Drive and Communication Guide. It gives a guide on how next season’s communication is going to be handled. Students please read through it.
